Purpose
From vulnerability to strategic judgement
The European Risk Policy Institute was established in 2015 as the first affiliated Risk Policy Institute within the Global Risk Policy Network, created and convened by the Australian Risk Policy Institute. ERPI applies Strategic Risk Policy® in European and international decision environments and develops ERPI frameworks for contemporary systemic-risk conditions.
The Institute works where conventional risk categories increasingly overlap: climate and infrastructure, geopolitical and geoeconomic disruption, technology and artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, governance, standards and assurance, institutional resilience and strategic leadership. Its purpose is to improve the quality of judgement before vulnerabilities mature into realised risks or crises.

Australian Risk Policy Institute (ARPI®)
ARPI designed and introduced Strategic Risk Policy® and created and convenes the Global Risk Policy Network.
Global Risk Policy Network (GRPN)
ERPI was established within the GRPN as its first affiliated Risk Policy Institute. The relationship provides an intellectual and network lineage while ERPI maintains its distinct European institutional identity and work programme.
Centre for Advanced Resilience and Risk Policy Studies (CARRPS™)
CARRPS is an advanced resilience and risk-policy research structure within the wider ARPI/GRPN ecosystem. Current ARPI material identifies ERPI Chairman Ivan Savov as Director of CARRPS and Simon Lee as Deputy Director.
Governance
Claims are controlled, not inherited
ERPI distinguishes between public institutional material, controlled professional work and internal or restricted analysis. Institutional claims, partnerships, programme status, awards, qualification language and historical material are not carried forward merely because they appeared on a legacy website or document. Public content is subject to source review, classification and explicit publication authority.
Only material approved for public release enters the production publishing workflow.
